11minutes Meditation
Such a beautiful, gentle meditation: It does not require much physical effort and I always come back to it when I feel the need to connect to my Yin energy. This specific meditation enhances the mother instinct.
Before you start the practice, please tune in.
Tune In:
Sit in easy pose, bring your palms together at the heart center. Apply a light pressure between your palms. Feel a firm pressure at the center of the sternum, where the hands touch your chest. The spine is long and straight. Eyes are closed. Chin is slightly tucked in. Connect to your breath for a while, before you chant. Take a deep breath in and chant the whole mantra while you exhale. Adjust the length of the mantra according to your breath. Repeat the mantra three times.
ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO
ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO.
ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO.
English Translation:
I bow to the creation, I bow to the teacher within.
After the Adi mantra above I recommend that you chant the Mangala Charan Mantra for protection (optional):
AAD GURAY NAMEH, JUGAD GURAY NAME, SAT GURAY NAMEH, SIRI GURU DEVEH NAMEY
AAD GURAY NAMEH, JUGAD GURAY NAME, SAT GURAY NAMEH, SIRI GURU DEVEH NAMEY
AAD GURAY NAMEH, JUGAD GURAY NAME, SAT GURAY NAMEH, SIRI GURU DEVEH NAMEY
English Translation:
I bow to the Primal Source of Creation,
I bow to the Wisdom through the Ages,
I bow to the True Source of Creation, the true identity of self,
I bow to the great, unseen Wisdom.”
THE PRACTICE

Sit in Easy Pose with a straight spine.

Make a fist with the left hand, thumb up.
Make a fist with the right hand around the left thumb. Fists are in line, one above the other, with the right thumb extended up. Hold the mudra at the hight of the heart center.
Sit prayerfully with kindness and compassion.
Concentrate at the heart center, and meditate on the breath.
Breath:
Make a beak of your mouth.
Inhale through the mouth.
Exhale through the nose.
Breathe slowly and deeply.
Mantra:
Listen to the mantra Rakhe Rakhanhaar and experience your vastness.
Connect to your totality. Embody your coziness, calmness, and wisdom.
Embrace the goddess that you are.
You have all the strength you need in the palm of your hand.

English Translation:
God saves us all and takes us through life.
Uplifting us and giving us excellence.
God gives us the touch of the lotus feet of the Guru and all our affairs are complete.
God is merciful, kind, and compassionate; and so our mind does not forget Thee.
In the company of the holy people, God takes us from negativity.
God does not let us come to harm.
That great God is my anchor.
Keep firm in your mind, by meditating and repeating God's Name.
All happiness comes and all sorrows and pain go away.
Continue for 11 minutes.
Take a couple of moments with your eyes closed to feel the impact of this meditation.
Tune Out:
At the and of each practice we tune out with the mantra SAT NAM. Sit in easy pose, bring your palms together at the heart center. Apply a light pressure between your palms in prayer pose. Feel a firm pressure at the center of the sternum, where the hands touch your chest. The spine is long and straight. Eyes are closed. Chin is slightly tucked in.
SAT NAM
SAT NAM
SAT NAM
Inhale deeply and chant while exhaling. The SAT is long, the NAM is short.
Sat Nam can be translated as "true Identity". This mantra connects you to the infinite part of your SELF - your soul.
The Rakhe Rakhanhaar-mantra is a protection mantra and is said to increase one's energy level. It helps when you are feeling physically weak or struggling with limited wealth. It is a victory song which allows us to be guided by the divine's grace and mercy. Chanting this mantra provides protection against any negative forces you may be encountering. It clears the way for happiness to enter your life by removing pain and sorrow from your heart.
I really like this version of the mantra, but please find the version you like.
If you have any questions about this meditation, I am happy to assist.
